Hey, I’m Amy. Nice to meet you.

I’ve spent more than twenty-five years as a massage therapist, working behind the scenes with musicians and celebrities, moving between beautiful hotels and backstage dressing rooms.

And let me tell you, backstage dressing rooms don’t always smell as good as you might imagine. ;)

So I started bringing essential oils with me. I made my own massage oils, room mists and used aromatherapy as part of my work. Scent became one of the ways I could change the feeling of a room and help someone relax, feel at home while they were on the road, and forget where they were for a minute.

Eventually, I started making perfume & candles too. I just love creating a sexy vibe wherever I am and sharing it.

Sometimes when I’m working on a new scent, I find myself thinking about one of the artists I worked with. Other times it’s a city I’ve been to, a hotel room, a night, a person. Scent does that. You close your eyes and suddenly you’re somewhere else. That’s the shit I live for.

And then there’s the Château.

For years, I’ve dreamed of owning a fucking gorgeous old French Château at the end of a long, tree-lined gravel drive. Fifty acres, orchards, a stream. Climbing roses crawling up old stone walls and orange blossoms in the air.

In my head, it’s this perfect little bohemian Shangri-La.

Fresh fruit from the garden on the kitchen table. Persian rugs, roaring fireplaces, incense and perfume in the air. Candles everywhere. And the people I love.

By morning, somebody might be downstairs in a kimono making coffee in sunglasses because they’re hungover. A musician might disappear into the library for a week to write. By night, somebody’s bringing wine up from the cellar, everyone’s barefoot, dinner ran three hours too long and nobody seems particularly interested in going to bed. And I never exactly know who’s coming or going.

I suppose parts of it comes from my own life.

Feather + Bell is where I finally gave all of it somewhere to live.

The perfume. The people. The stories. The beautiful things I find. And whatever the hell is happening at the Château that night.

Until I have the keys to the real one, we’ll start here.

Come in and stay awhile. ;)
